Seattle/Tacoma with a 1 year old...
 

We will be visiting our year-old grand daughter (oh - and her parents!) in July and might get to have our granddaughter to ourselves for a couple of days. Any suggestions of kid-safe places to stay that are nice, fun...and won't break the bank? We are on a very limited budget.

Are you going to be in Seattle or Tacoma?

We can be in either place - no definite plans yet. Suggestions?

I can't think of any recommendable hotel in Seattle that is more "kid-safe" than any other. Can you be more specific about what you are looking for?

I guess I'm looking for something like a cabin or cottage - a place where we can really kick-back.
