Seattle - shuttle services?

Hi All,

I need some help. I will be taking a cruise which leaves from Seattle Pier 91. After the cruise I will be staying at the GreenLake Guest House. (7630 E. Green Lake Dr. N. Seattle, WA 98103 ) I won't have a car. I need to find the cheapest way to get there.

I got a quote from Shuttle Express and I like their rates from the airport to the pier and from the Guest house to the airport ... but they want $65.30 to get me to the Guest House from the pier!!! That is a lot! ( Google Maps says the trip should be around 15-20mins and around 6 miles)

What are my options?

I'd just take a cab. Pier 91 to Green Lake ought to be around $25.

I second the cab suggestion. We went from Pioneer Square area to Pier 91 for less than $30 and from the airport to Pioneer Square vis limo for $40.

Check out http://transit.metrokc.gov/ if you want super-cheap (but probably a PITA). I'm guessing if you're staying at G'lake without a car you're planning to use the bus during your trip anyway?

The logical people to ask as the managers of the guest house, but since the one at which you are staying is so inconveniently located for cruise ship customers, they may not know the answer.

You can make the trip by taking bus 48 to Ballard and by transfering there to bus 15, but this involves quite a bit of walking with your luggage.

Have you thought of staying elsewhere?

I'd also just take a taxi.
