Q: My wife and I will be coming to Seattle in the middle of September. If there were only one place to eat dinner and money were not an issue, where should we go for dinner? It doesn't have to be the most expensive place in town, but it needs to be a unique dining experience.
A: Since money is not an issue, Canlis, Space Needle, or Rovers. |
Go for the tasting menu at Union! ***kim*** ((#))

We ate at Dahlia Lounge, Pink Door and Matt's in the Market in February and our best meal was by far at Matt's - best service as well (it was Valentine's Day and we didn't have a reservation). Dahlia Lounge had some decent dishes but was inconsistent. Pink Door had a great mushroom pasta but was just so-so on the other dishes. That said, I loved the ambiance, especially the jazz trio that was playing during our meal.
We're going back next week and I've heard great things about Quinn's Pub so we'll probably go there one night. My husband really liked Elliot's but I would like to try somewhere else that has good oysters/fish. Suggestions? |
The Brooklyn has good oysters and fish.
