Seattle neighborhoods - where to stay?

Ah, Gardyloo, thanks again. I'm delighted to hear that the house I like is also in a great location. From the map, it looks like we'll be close to a library and playground. Maybe I'll try to rent a wheelchair in Seattle but I think we can handle 4 blocks.

I agree with Gardyloo's assessment. At Greenlake if you want to be close to the action you would want to be close to nice walking try to find places close to the side of the lake where Shelter Restaurant is. If you decide to stay up on Queen Anne then you should check out Le Reve Bakery, Molly Moons Ice Cream and the 5 Spot Restaurant-all yummy.
