J,

I would also recommend the Music Experience Project - especially if you are a Hendrix fan! I really, really enjoyed it.

Oh, please don't tell me you are going to Seattle and not having sushi? Shiro's in Belltown is a bit well used but nearly every time I've sat at the bar, a party has broken out. Don't order, just trust the chef.

REI's Imperial Galactic HQ shop, it's bigger than Bill Gate's house and cheaper than most tourist sites (no admission charge, just a small checkout fee).

The Music Experience, but if you really want to commune with Hendrix, take that one day in a rental car and drive to Renton and visit his (second) grave.

Are you here over Halloween? There's some fun stuff that night.

Thanks everyone great suggestions. I like the idea of the neighborhood dining. I think our food budget is busted - but hey!

suze: We'll be there there Oct 5-13. I'm still hoping for some sunshine and warmth.

travel bouy: The sushi meal has been my biggest puzzle so far. So far Saito, Umi, Nishino and Shiro have all been highly recommended.
