Not sure if it is still in operation during Covid, but we really enjoyed a food tasting tour of Pike Place Market. Savor was the company. Along with yummies, there was a lot of history of the Market and surrounding areas.

Personally, I found the Gum Wall nauseating.

The Arboretum and the UW campus are two different places, so that one suggestion had me confused? Otherwise all great suggestions!

My bad. I visited the two at the same time, so I falsely remember the arboretum being on campus, when in reality it's actually about a mile south of it. Also, I checked google maps and the Southern entrance is only a 30-minute bus ride from downtown, not 45 minutes.

Not to mention a body of water in between the two places :-) UW campus, the Montlake cut (Lake Washington Ship Canal), then the Arboretum... from north to south.
