Seattle -- Brunch in/near Madison Park?
 

6 of us girls are having a bridal shower party in the form of a champagne (hopefully) brunch and spa day. We have the spa picked out - Spa del Lago - and our appointments have been made. Our earliest treatment is at 12:00 p.m. I think we'd like to eat around 10:45 a.m. or so.

Neither Cafe Flora nor Madison Park Cafe take reservations, and I'm worried about trying to wing it with walk-in tables. Anyone have any brunch recommendations in/near Madison Park that take reservations?

Kingfish Cafe on 19th is not too far and very nice for breakfast.

There's several casual restaurants right there next to Spa de Lago (love that place!) but for the life of me I can't think of the name of them.

Hey, does Cactus do brunch? that place is very fun.

Checked out Cactus, and sadly no brunch - but I'll put it on my list of restaurants to try.

Kingfish looks great...but they don't do reservations either. I'm nervous about not having reservations somewhere with our spa appointments starting so early.

(For the record, I think I'm the one in the group that's worrying most about not having reservations...primarily because when I went to Cafe Flora, we got the last table and everyone else was being given an estimate of 45mins or so.)

Kingfish Cafe opens at 10:00am on Saturday and Sunday. If you were standing there when the doors opened (people do line up for this restaurant) I bet you'd be OK.

Coastal Kitchen on 15th Ave East is another fun place near-ish Madison Park but I know they don't take reservations either.

The place I was thinking of on the corner next to Spa de Lago is Sorella's, it's a casual itallian place with outdoor seating but not open until 11:30.

That's a toughie if you need reservations. Coastal Kitchen is one of my favorites though, and Kingfish Cafe as well. I would think if you're willing to get there early (at 10:00) and wait, you'd be ok.

ooooh, Sorrento Hotel, classy suggestion! I usually go just for drinks in the lobby bar, it's a great hidden gem. Wonderful idea from HTTY.
