Seattle Airport SEATAC
What is an economical way to get from the Seattle Airport to the Bainbridge Ferry? Going Friday afternoon.

Try this: http://transit.metrokc.gov/

You can also take the Grayline Airporter for $10.25:

I believe they have a van that will transport you down to the ferry---ask the driver about that because he will have to radio ahead. Or you can just walk the 6 blocks straight down the hill to the ferry. |
Keith,
From the Madison Renaissance (515 Madison) to the ticket office on Pier 52 (801 Alaskan Way) is a little over half a mile. It is a pleasant walk unless, of course, you are traveling with luggage. Happy Trails to You |
It has been ages since I last visited Seattle (maybe the early 1970's).
Is the Space Needle Restaurant (by whatever name) still in operation? It was a fascinating place to go, I remember! |
They redid the restaurant a couple years ago and renamed it Sky City. The food is supposed to be better than before, but the prices are still sky high--so to speak: http://www.spaceneedle.com/restaurant/

If the weather is clear, the experience of eating in the revolving resturant is worth the marginal food and high prices. If the weather is socked in, I wouldn't bother. You can see the inside of a cloud a lot less expensively.
