Seattle advice

We're have reservations at the Rennaissance. Will we be happy? We want to take in Victoria or Vancouver Island with our son. Which one and should we ferry across or take a seaplane?
Thanks for the help.

Tell me what you are looking for in a hotel and we can tell you if you'll be happy.

Tell us why and what you want to see by going to either Victoria or Vancouver and we can better help you to decide.

How long will you be in Seattle, which month?

Thanks for responding Wendy. We're looking for good service and an upscale room. We'll be in Seattle for 5 days at the end of July. The choice for Victoria or Vancouver Island has to do with keeping 2 males{my guys} happy while sightseeing. They enjoy anything but shopping.

I think Vancouver might have more for the guys in general. However, if you do go to Victoria, take the guys to the Royal Museum.

Just a PS here. Victoria is located on Vancouver Island. Vancouver is located on the mainland of British Columbia, and is not on Vancouver Island. You can get there by car from Seattle, driving up I-5.

I agree with Pam, that, as a city, Vancouver has more to offer than Victoria. Stanley Park is wonderful, with bike riding and other active pursuits. UBC has a great museum of native American Art and there's a nude beach nearby for the boys. :-)
