Seattle accomodation

I can't find a hotel in downtown Seattle that is not upper end in price; I want a reasonably priced clean room, does anyone have a suggestion?

6th ave inn. I hope it's still as clean as it was a few years ago.

The Moore Hotel
Days Inn
Best Western Loyal
6th Avenue Inn
8th Avenue Inn

These are the lowest priced room available that are located in downtown Seattle.

When?

Not downtown proper, but on lower Queen Anne hill nearby, the Mediterranean Hotel is a decent choice.

I would add the Executive Hotel Pacific to suze's list.

But it's hard to find something downtown during the summer months for under $150-175 or so and those are the basic places.

HI Suze
You're right I don't see one listed either on Pike..
now maybe I am doubting my memory re Homewood Suites ..however there was a Fodors posting noting it was an "all suites hotel" being converted to one of major brands & and I do remeber it was not far from Pike Place market. I knew I should have printed it down..

Maybe you're thinking of "SpringHill Suites Seattle Downtown" (it's a Marriott property)?

It's not really that close to the Market though, it's up right on the freeway at Denny.

The former Pike Street Suites is now a Homewood Suites:

www.pikestreetsuites.com/ (this will be redirected to the Homewood Suites site)
