I have to second everything Volcanogirl said. I made my first trip to Seattle last month and loved it. What a terrific city - a beautiful setting and so much to do. The people were really friendly. A highlight for me was taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island for the day and the breathtaking view of Mount Rainier on the way back.

I moved here to try it out "for a year or two" 25+ years ago... and never left!
