My top three things to do in Seattle are the Pike Place Market, the ferry to Bainbridge Island, and the Argosy Locks Cruise.

I also like to visit the Space Needle, the downtown retail core (centered on 5th Avenue and Pine Street), Pioneer Square art galleries, Chinatown International District, the Olympic Sculpture Park, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Museum of History and Industry.

We have loads of music venues. I like Jazz Alley and The Triple Door.

Mt. Rainier is the top day trip from Seattle, and other favorite destinations near Seattle are the Olympic Peninsula, San Juan Island, the North Cascade Loop, the Columbia River Gorge, and the Oregon Coast.

You might enjoy the new Chihuly glass display

http://www.chihulygardenandglass.com. It is pretty incredible.

I also like the Argosy tour- I did the harbor tour which I enjoyed.

I think the Underground Tour is interesting and worth the time.

Love Teatro Zinzanni- an evening of entertainment and dinner. Many of the performers have been with the Cirque du Soleil and they put on quite a performance. It is held in an antique circus tent from Europe- the performers are also your waiters and every course has a dramatic presentation. It is described as a cross between the Moulon Rouge and the Circqe du Soleil.
They are also very interactive with the guests so you could have your waiter sitting on your lap or ???

I agree with Underground Tour and Teatro Zinzanni.

Also, a tour of Boeing: http://www.futureofflight.org/

If you can't do it all in comfort do the Hop On Hop Off bus..Gives a nice overview then you can return to whatever you like..

are you saying you wont leave downtown? there are some interesting railroad museums in the area but they are not downtown.

I don't know their plans, but if I only had 3 days to see Seattle, I also would just stick with downtown (or at least close in central areas, maybe like seeing the Zoo or Greenlake or one of the beautiful parks).
