SeaTac to Downtown Seattle?

We will be arriving around 1 pm on Mon. I have checked out differant ground tansport alternatives. We are staying at the Hotel Vintage Plaza. What would you recommend for the 2 of us?

I'm a fan of shuttles. There's a good waiting area and you will be taking directly to your hotel. You may get a little tour of Seattle when other passengers are delivered but generally you'll all be in the same area.

I always just take a taxi myself. Just walk out of baggage claim, over the skybridge to Ground Transportation and off you go! Especially with two people together it's not much more than various shuttle options and you go directly to your hotel (~$32?).

My second favorite method is the "Greyline Airporter" which leaves every 1/2 hour and makes a loop of major downtown Seattle hotels. Google, there's a website. I believe this is ~$10 per person.

I don't like the other types of shuttle van services myself, because I always seem to get stuck driving around picking up or dropping off the other passengers. And again, with two people together, the cost savings is minimal over a taxi.

That's my experience as well, Suze--the shuttle takes SO much longer! And with 2 people, you may as well take a cab because the shuttle doesn't save you much money.

Same with the Airporter Bus--for one person it's definitely a savings over a cab, but for 2, not so much, given the longer amount of time it'll take.

Thanks everyone! My DH is leaning towrds a cab! I want to get there early and do some walking around, because it will be SUNNY! Yahoo!

A cab will work well for 2 of you.

When traveling alone, I use the Grayline Airporter bus, but when the two of us go we take a cab.

I am another who does not care for the shuttle.

Hopefully our good weather will hold---it is gorgeous today (at last).
