Searching for US beach resort....help!

We are starting to plan our summer vacation and wish to travel to a beach resort in the US somewhere. We prefer an all inclusive but realize that they are not plentiful in the US. Looking for suggestions of a nice beach area for July timeframe....would like to stay in a resort where some or all meals may be included in the price, large pool(s), and things to do in the area...tropical palm tree setting preferred. Help!

Most of these all inclusive types of resorts will be found mainly in places such as the Carribbean.

Try researching Sanibel or Captiva Island, Florida. Although not all-inclusive, The South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island has a tropical setting, nice beaches, access to numerous activities, pools, restaurants within walking or short driving distance, as well as the general area of both islands being relaxed. May be worth a look for you.

You might look into Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. For ex. Wequasset Inn or maybe Chatham Bars
