Searching for Hotel in NY state Rt17, ex 100T
 

If anyone knows a decent hotel to stay overnight in Upstate NY, particularly Route 17, exit 100 vicinities, please respond. <BR>I searched the net, but major chains seem to avoid the area. <BR>Maybe you know some private inexpensive hotel that does not have a net page yet. <BR>Thanks in advance to everyone who responds.

How about giving us some town names to work from? I live in upstate NY, but have no idea where exit 100 might be.... <BR> <BR>Have you tried using mapblast.com or freetrip.com ? They give directions and list nearby hotels.

There are two motels listed in the AAA tour book for Monticello (exit 104). Best Western Monticello and an Econo Lodge. There are probably a few others in the area. In Liberty (exit 100) there is a Days Inn and a Ramada Limited.

Your links are invaluable for me. <BR>Rqf, <BR>Thank you too, I have found 3 hotels out of 4, Best Western is booked and far anyway,Econo is $125 and too far, Days Inn is $95+ taxes. <BR>I will check Ramada, but I remember it was in Monticello area, not in Liberty. <BR>I will reserve Days Inn if I don't find somethoing more reasonable. <BR>Thanks again

Yes, Ramada Limited is in Monticello, the best price $89+tax. <BR>I would prefer something closer to Liberty and/or Exit 100.

The Ramada Limited that was in Liberty (exit 100) changed ownership. It is now called the Best Inn.

There is a place called the BEST INN in Liberty that used to be the Ramada. I called the place two days ago and spoke to someone at the front desk. I dialed the telephone number that was listed for the Ramada, in the AAA tour book, in Liberty. The number listed is (914) 292-7171. When I called a recording indicated the area code had changed. I didn't write it down so I can remember what is was.
