Searching for Family Reunion Spot for about 60 people.
Family with attendees from 1 year old to 86 looking for a place to hold family reunion. We were thinking of something like a dude ranch so lots of activities would be available but it doesn't necessarily have to be a dude ranch. We would be very happy with a clean, reasonably priced, easy to reach facility from a major airport. We are planning this in June or July of 2009.
Any suggestions? Does not have to be in Colorado either. We have people coming from midwest, Florida, and California and trying to be located somewhere in the middle - but, if anyone knows of something that would be right up our alley elsewhere, please advise.

We know people who have used the Snow Ranch for family reunions and loved it.

One of the best holidays of my life was spent at Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. Absolutely fantastic place and an amazing staff to help you with the plans. Fly into Hailey and drive an hour to the ranch. While not a major airport it does have relatively good service. My trip report is on this forum and a review of the ranch by me is posted at tripadvisor.com Best wishes.

We have spent a lot of time at Snow Mtn Ranch (YMCA of the Rockies) near Winter Park, CO. They book up very far in advance, so ask them now about availability.
They have two relatively new, nice big lodges for families, sleeping about 16 or more. Each with a big kitchen, fireplace in a great room, game room. Also lots of smaller cabins.
There are family activities including bikes for rent and great trails, good hiking, an indoor pool, outdoor tennis, miniature golf, a climbing wall, a grill for 'fast food'. It's a great place for families.
They have a shuttle service to take you into town, also.
