I have not stayed there, but I wanted to post this link to a photo that shows the layout of the complex from above. My apologies if you have already seen this. (I think it is a neat picture)

Yes, I stayed there. Loved it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tammima...7605052899888/
I don't remember the unit though but there are more pics. It was definitely worth it.
Oh, I found it, G-2.

Thanks, Amelie. Trip advisor has reviews on the various units--some great; others questionable. So I was wondering about the specific unit--F-7. I don't find any reviews for that particular unit. I'm glad, though, that you enjoyed your stay at the complex.

I have not stayed in F7 but I have stayed at the Sealodge twice. In May 2007 I stayed in unit D7 and August 2007 I stayed in unit D8. I love the Sealodge and the North Shore of Kauai! I am actually planning a trip back this year in September and I have the C8 reserved.
Here are three websites for the Sealodge:

Thanks, All--I appreciate your feedback.
We've booked F-7 for mid-July. From jcb's wizardpub link, I see that the unit is among those a bit away from the bluff, but I think we can still see and hear the sea. This unit otherwise seems very good for us since there's lots of room-- a King bedroom for my daughter and son-in-law, a twin room for Grandma (that's me) and my friend Susie, and a convertible sofa in the living room for my two grandsons, ages 7 & 9.
In researching lodgings in the north, I came across a great website (kayakkauai.com) which among other things offers surfing lessons that the boys can take advantage of. $50 with a guarantee that at the end of the session, the boys will at least be standing up. We'll see about that, but anyway, so many things to look forward to.
We usually stay in Poipu and drive up north for the occasional day, but this time we'll have three days in Princeville before continuing to Poipu for a week. Can't wait.
