Seafood Extravaganza!
CONTE'S
I have lived in CT my whole life, and never have I found a "favorite" restaurant let alone food. I am truly impressed with the exertion the cooks and owner brought to the table at CONTE'S Market and Grill! I have never tasted a seafood dish quite as mouth watering and transcendentally assimilating as the seafood at CONTE'S right by the river front. The prices are definitly right for fairfield county-wealthiest of the Nation-and are conspicuously worth it too. That being said CONTE'S must be something you experience. I would certainly recommend a dining experience at Conte's. Friday Nights are Live Music ---AWESOME! hot babes and hot diggity dudes! *~sharing the wealth of the world~* |
Poor piece of advertising imo.
|
Very true-but I have only worked their for a month and it is become my second home. The people really do take care of you and are so nice. I thought I would help them out in return.
Completely honest too. *prost* |
But advertising is against the rules.
|
It's really advertising though because I work there?
What happened to good inputs? Well, whatever it's worth Conte's is my first job, I'm 20...and I couldn't see myself anywhere else. -except the Marines. |
Hot diggity dudes?
You just guaranteed that NO ONE from this board will ever patronize this place. |
criticism is boring
constructive criticism is more respected no? I am just being myself and telling the world about my love for the food at Conte's. My goodness lol |
FWIW, their menu is unusually ethical/healthy re:farming and harvesting of the seafood they serve. I'm tempted to check it out.
|
So, bri buddy--Is Friday nite the only nite I can comingulate with them hot babes and h/d guys (whatever THAT might be!!)
|
IF you had wrote it more along the lines of
"For anyone visiting Westport, CT (let alone you never said where in CT it is), try Conte's Market and Grill for excellent seafood." It may have come off better but even then it is still close to advertising. The way you wrote it is way too over the top. You have financial interest in getting people to come there so posting on a website about the restaurant is advertising unless you are responding to someone's question. |
>>transcendentally assimilating<<
Wow - has someone bean reading Hawthorne? |
It wasn't Contes where I got that terrible case of ... was it?
"transcendentally assimilating" what the hell does that mean? |
transcendental assimilation = tokin the bong
|
I think this should be reposted as Seafood Shi*eria!
|
Well, this ad just made me feel stupid, so I'll stay away. I have no idea what makes food "transcendentally assimilating". I'd rather just get some that tastes good. Food that assimilates me transcendentally scares the hell out of me. But then "hot diggety dudes" scare me even more! No thanks.

Now, Neo - just think back to the days when we were counted among the HDD's... ;-)
|
Beach, that is funny as hell!
|
Well... I tried...
transcendental: incapable of being the root of an algebraic equation with rational coefficients <ð is a transcendental number> assimilation: the incorporation or conversion of nutrients into protoplasm that in animals follows digestion and absorption and in higher plants involves both photosynthesis and root absorption My conclusion: their food is incapable of conversion :)) |
that's funny Faina...

Posts like this are better received when it's not your one & only here on Fodor's. Tell us something about Connecticut that could be helpful. Answer people's questions about fall folliage, whatever. Also mention you love your employer and the restaurant you work in. That makes it a travel post, instead of advertisement :-)
