Sea Pines - Hilton Head
My husband, myself and our two boys ages 16 and 12 are planning to go to the Sea Pines during Spring Recess this April. My husband is a golfer so the weather should be great for golfing. Any info on any of the courses would be great. As for accomodations, is it best to stay in the hotel, or rent a condo. Any help with the best location would be appreciated. I would like to be in walking distance to the beach and tennis courts, is that possible, also close to dining and shopping, would be idea. I would love any advice on the resort. Thanks.

Check with Sea Pines Realty about their Beach and Tennis villas. At South Beach, right on the beach. You are probably going to find that you can get a 2 BR condo for about the same price as 2 rooms for a week at a hotel.
If you rent from Sea Pines you should have discounted golf at the three Sea Pines courses. Also check out Marriott's Monarch condo complex inside Sea Pines. Also right on the beach. Typically the Hilton Head golf complexes offer multi-day multi-course packages that are the best deals. If you web search Hilton Head golf you will be overwhelmed. Check for deal packages at Shipyard, Port Royal, and Palmetto Dunes plantations. All have good golf courses. |
From a 28 year resident:
Above post is excellent info. I'd find out when Heritage is playing this year and try to avoid that week because the island is a zoo. Other than that, April will be very pleasant. |
Thank you so much for that information. I will check into it.
