Sea Life Park
 

I wanted insight on this attraction. Also, in comparison to PCC if you had to choose between the two, which would be better and why?

We enjoyed Sea Life Park and it is good for two to three hours. It is convenient to Honolulu (and part of the tourist bus route) and in a beautiful area. Sea Life Park could easily be done as part of the circle tour in south eastern (?) Oahu.

In my opinion, there isn't really a comparison to the Polynesian Culture Center which is a "must do" to me. That will take the entire day, and you'll still not be able to see and experience everything.

Thanks so much for your reply. I've visited PCC a LONG time ago and wanted to go back with my kids this time. A previous message said PCC was over priced and they felt Sea Life Park had just as much to offer as PCC. Thanks for the insight. Are you a frequent Hawaiia visitor? If so, any other tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thought Sea Life Park was rather disappointing (overpriced, not that much to see, NO shade) - but hten again, we were a party of adults. Kids (younger ones anyway) will probably like it. Older ones might find the shows somewhat hokey.

We much preferred PCC (best thing we did on Oahu) - but again, we didn't have any kids with us. If you go to the PCC be sure and stay for the show. Really terrific!

my husband and i and our 3 boys (13,12,7) went to both. we swam (not really swimming, more like standing in a pool) with the dolphins which the kids liked. sea life park is rather small and can be done in 1-2 hrs. my husband and i had been to PCC twice before and loved it, my kids, however, did not. they were pretty bored and couldn't wait to leave. good luck and have a great time.
