Sea Castle - Siesta Key?

Anybody stayed at this resort? We are looking for a family beach vacation in June.

Another option we are looking at is the Sand piper condos at Sanibel. Never been to any of these places. Any experiences or advise appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,
We've just gotten back from a mth in Siesta key, however, we stayed right down the road at the seashell. I like the beach at the seashell better (on beach side too) and right across the street you can pick up groceries, ice cream shop, eat breakfast etc...the two places are within 4 blocks of each other. The sea shell is 2bdrm/2bath, good sizes...don't know if you have kids or.. Try to stay up towards the front of the building starts at 101 (beachfront) and becomes closer to the street at 110. There are some really pretty places there. We have 3kids and stayed in one which was reasonable for us. Finally, saw #507 is fantastic! (too nice for our family w/ kids) and heard but didn't see #303 was good. If you let me know more perhaps I can help you out more, but stay here over the sea castle.

Also, the web address is seashellcondos.com They can send you pictures of the inside of each condo. let me know if you need things to do etc...love the beach & siesta key. One more thing...did you look closer to the village for accomodations?

I know it's old but thought an update might be in order. The SeaCastle has been sold and no news on what the new owners might do with it. If it remains the same I'll definately be back. Best place on the beach.
