scuba diving - keys

Will be comming to Miami in early March and am looking for recommendations for scuba diving outfitters on upper and middle key area.

Capt. Slate in Key Largo is a reputable company. You should also try for at least one dive at Looe Key (off Big Pine Key).

I second keymom's suggestion of Looe Key. Love diving there. Didn't care much for Captain Slate's operation though. Although Captain Slate was not with us when we went out with his dive operation, they acted like they really didn't want to be out diving that day.

Amy Slate (Captain Slate's ex) has a dive operation on Key Largo called Amoray Dive Resort that we have used numerous times. We have always had a great experience with her operation. There is also a dive operation right next to hers that I don't recall the name of right now that seemed like a good operation as well.

Oh, I think the name of the other dive operation is AquaNuts.

Thanks to all responses. I have decided to go with Amoray dive.
