On the recommendation of a waitress at our hotel, we tried US Egg restaurant that debitNM mentions.

Wanting to try something new, I ordered the Protein Pancake - - it was Really good! It was a good start to our day, and will go back.

Thanks Debit. US Egg it is.

At Grimaldis, we got the salad and a large artichoke pizza and brought the leftovers back to our room because we had a fridge and a microwave.
I really like staying in Scottsdale.

Protein pancake?

Are you all flying down? Does airfare seem more expensive this year or am I just out of touch?

We drive.

BetsyG, we actually are paying about 120$ less this year for airfare than last year.
We are taking Airtran, but United and US Air have matched it.
Delta is the teeniest bit pricier.
Hopefully it is competition!
But rising gas prices won't help in the future.
