Scottsdale, AZ? Fairmount Princess

Found a super cheap deal on travelzoo for this resort. It has great reviews on tripadvisor and looks beautiful -- only question.....what is there to do in Scottsdale off the resort property??

Thx :)

Funny, I just suggested Arizona on your other thread. The resort does look lovely, but I have no first-hand knowledge. When we went to Arizona, we toured around the state and then stayed at a resort for a few days at the end so I wasn't looking for a lot to do off site. We did visit Taliesin West in Scottsdale and I would recommend a visit there.

Visit the Desert Botanical Gardens, hike up/down Camelback Mtn., wander through Old Town Scottsdale, visit the Heard Museum in Phoenix

Thanks!

I was just slightly concerned about not having much to do out of the resort itself (afraid I'd get bored after about 4-5 days there if there's not a lot off property) but I'll look into those options.

Don't forget to go to Taliesin West. It was the home and studios of Frank Lloyd Wright. There is so much to do in Scottsdale and Phoenix. You can keep busy for well over a week, and of course there is the great side trip to Sedona for a day.
The Princess will blow you away. It is gorgeous with a fantastic spa. Luxury hotel. I live here too!
