Does anyone know of a nice hotel for a reasonable price for a family of 4 in Scottsdale?

It depends on what you think is reasonable..There is a motel6 quite close to downtown Scottsdale. Check Expedia out for other places. There are a few places in South Scottsdale and north Tempe that are fairly close and reasonable and there is local bus service 7 daysa week though the Sat and Sun service leaves a bit to be desired as they only run once an hour or so. <BR>Summer is the cheapest time to visit because it's so darn hot here. There are quite a few of the Marriott, Hampton Inn types if that is what you are looking for. They are mostly very, very new and in good locations...let me know if you are interested in further info....other than that, all the resorts are ALOT less in the summer and you can stay at a luxury hotel for much less, just depends on what you are looking for.

Charlotte, <BR> <BR>What do you consider reasonable? And what time of year are you traveling? There is a drastic change in hotel rates from summer to winter months.

I've stayed at the Quality Inn Suites in Scottsdale - found them very nice with wonderful breakfast included (no custom omlets, but great healthy foods with lots of fruit). Nice pool and large rooms all within walking distance of Old Town. Enjoyed it.
