School spring break
 

Can anyone please tell me when the schools in the northeast (NY, Conn, New Jersey, etc) will take their spring breaks.

Don't know whether you're referring to colleges, high schools or elementary schools. But my daughter's college in Massachusetts has their break in mid-March.

Most public schools in Massachusetts have a week off for each of the two Monday holidays: Presidents Day (Feb 21 this year) and Patriots Day (April 18). Many private schools combine these and take two weeks in March instead.

In the Westchester NY area, (suburbs of NYC) Winter recess is February 21-25 and Spring Break/Passover is April 18-22.

March 25-28 is a short "Easter" break.

Depends on what state and what year. Almost all public elementary and secondary schools in Mass have weeks as stated by Anonymous - always week after the third Mondays in Feb and Apr. each year. Other NE states may vary by dates of Easter and Passover each year.

President's Week will be taken either February 14-18th or February 21-25th.

Easter Week is taken either March 21-25th or March 28- April 1st.
