School in USA
I really want to move to USA to go to school there, I have family there where I can live at, but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is possible for me to move? (Btw I'm 14, turning 15 next year)

What passport do you hold? What family member(s)?

Probably a troll -- we had another first timer who posted an almost identical question a couple of months ago and the thread turned quite 'absurd' :)

It's probably possible for your family to send you there, I think the CHinese do it a lot--but maybe that is university.
It is likely that you can if you have close relatives you can live with, sure, why not. Where I live, any county resident can go to the high school, and international students who are legally residing with a county resident can, also (especially if legal guardian), but there is a special application process. So I would guess you probably can, but the relatives whom you will live with are the ones who should be contacting their local school district to get the details and requirements. |
Good heavens, what a query. Much too general for us to get interested in for a response.

If you want to live with relatives they are the ones who need to, in the US, get information about everything they will need to do for this to happen.
If you want to stay for more than one school year, versus just a limited exchange program, they will need to make themselves responsible for you financially and prove that they are capable of doing so. They should check all of this with the State Department to find out the requirements for doing this and if they are willing and capable of doing so. |
Ask your US relatives to help you. Ask the college or university to give you advice and guidance.
Why are you asking on a travel forum? I agree with janisj, probably the same troll from a year or so ago. |
Have your relatives check with the school system where they live for any regulations, requirements, restrictions.
