"Scent of a Woman" in New York City?

In the film "Scent of a Woman" starring Al Pacino, there is a tango scene at a restaurant in NYC. Just wondering if this restaurant really exists in NYC and what the name is (or was it just a set?)

According to imdb.com, they have dinner at the Oak Room at the Plaza hotel and the tango location is a ballroom at the Pierre Hotel.

Now starrs, what was the name of that tango? It has been used in other movies as well?

The name of the tango is "Por una cabeza" by Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera. Along with "Uno" is one of the most beautiful Argentinian tangos.

There's no place left in NYC where you can dance like that. The Astor Court at the St. Regis comes close as far as the space, but they don't have music except maybe for afternoon tea.

Well thanks, verdinha. I waited 13 months for that answer!
