scenic route-Phoenix to Tucson
 
Is there a more scenic route from Phoenix to Tucson, or should we just take Route 10? Anyone every stayed at the Lodge on the Desert?

An alternate route is to go east of Phoenix on Hwy 60 past Apache Junction and then south on Hwy 79 which connects to Hwy 77 to Tucson. It offers some nice desert scenery, It is a longer route but is more much more interesting.
