Hi beachbum, I loved your report..excellent :D
My last posting on here was the Beach part..again, I loved it. Portland scored a 10 with us..of course, there was day after day of sunshine and mild temps :) I want to live in the Hills and go into town and have coffee every day ~ |
Sorry-
I loved the Pinots. I had one at the Heathman that was "their" wine and it was not that great but the plain old Willamette Pinot Noirs that we had were all very good. The Yankee remembers the names. When we come back from Paris, we always have a new favorite wine. One year I would only drink Cotes du Rhone:) Just the bottle sitting on the table is always good, isn't it :) |
Oops, guess I should have refreshed before posting. Yeah, Cannon Beach is cool (but you coulda done better than Mo's).
About the wine...... |
I'm drinking Cote Du Rhone at this moment so I;ll toast the ywo of you and your reports ((D))

Cheers to you too, Mimi~

Glad you enjoyed Portland! We're very fortunate to have a home in Astoria and a beach cottage in Seaside! We spend half the summer in the area, which was wonderful! Mo's is a great place for a large family to dine and not break the bank, LOL!!
After dining out for 23 consecutive nights in the area this summer, I too was ready for a home-cooked meal but really enjoyed all of the places we were able to try. Did you get a chance to try Paley's Place? ***kim*** :) |
Hi kim ~
No we didn't make it to Paleys. I guess I will just have to go back :D |
The carriage ride through the city and a dinner at Paley's would definitely be worth the trip back! If all works out well, we're planning on spending Thanksgiving week in the area. Lucky us! ***kim*** :)
