Savannah winter weather?

What is the weather like in Savannah in January and February? Does it generally get very cold, or does it stay warm enough to make for pleasant living? I'm looking for a place to escape the northeast cold. I'm not particularly fond of Florida and don't need it that hot. Thanks.

Savannah winters are usually mild, not too cold. The summers are a different story. It can be very hot and very humid.
That said, it is a beautiful city filled with history.

January is the coldest month along the Georgia Coast and in Florida. I think you'd have nicer weather in February.

In January you'll find nighttime lows in the mid-30's and daytime highs in the 58-61 range. Feb adds about 3-4 degrees on average.

Thanks, I think I'll try Feb., though even Jan. highs don't sound bad.
