Savannah Pink House restaurant?
 

Plz share any recent experiences at Savannah Pink House restaurant, advice on dishes, worth the prices? Thanks.

I was there with my wife the end of April. Excellent.

We stayed right next door at the Planters Inn.

It's fabulous. Definitely worth the price.

Their scored flounder is their signature entree.

Their praline basket with ice cream is their signature dessert.

I've been eating there for years with groups of varied sizes and NO ONE has ever been disappointed with their meals. It's the most consistent restaurant I know of. Everything is delicious.

I usually order an two appetizers served at the same time as my entree because the appetizers are just so darn good. My favorite appetizers are the She Crab soup, the shrimp with grits cake and fried green tomatoes. The salads are fabulous. Everything is fabulous.

Make reservations ASAP. I like the older, original rooms of the Pink House but do like the decor and spaciousness of the new dining room.

The tavern downstairs is wonderful and I often go there for just an appetizer or coffee and dessert even when I don't eat dinner at upstairs.
