Savannah Myrtle Beach & Charleston in November
Am looking into visiting the above cities the week of November 6th thru the 13th and am curious about the weather that time of the year. Is it still pretty warm or cold and rainy? Also, if anyone else has any other information regarding visiting that time of year that will be helpful in me making a decision, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

here weather Month Avg High Avg Low Precipitation
January 58 F 38 F 3.5 inches February 61 F 40 F 3.3 inches March 69 F 47 F 4.3 inches April 76 F 54 F 2.7 inches May 85 F 63 F 4.0 inches June 88 F 69 F 6.4 inches July 90 F 73 F 6.8 inches August 89 F 72 F 7.2 inches September 85 F 68 F 4.7 inches October 77 F 56 F 2.9 inches November 69 F 47 F 2.5 inches December 62 F 41 F 3.1 inches I live in atl,and we're just a few degrees cooler--thats the dry season as well.Water will be around 75, you might be able to swim .Youll love savannah--if you do all 3, id visit Beaufort SC as well. I think you need at least 2 days to see Charleston and savannah--im not a big fan of Myrtle,unless your a golfer--way too many condos |
I'd choose Kiawah over Myrtle Beach--or even Hilton Head

I'm in Charleston. November can be variable. Sometimes it's mild and pleasant, and sometimes chilly. The ocean will be starting to get chilly too. If you are interested in touring the Historic District, it should be great. For swimming or lying on the sand, it might be a little too cold.

I would leave MB out of that mix. AND Hilton Head. But there are lovely beaches and places to visit south of MB--Pawley's, Georgetown (no beach), Litchfield. MB is just too congested. If you want to golf, there is plenty around south of there.
As is said, it could be very cool, or it could be absolutely delightfully warm. Sitting around the pool can be nice. Swimming probably not--all along the coast. |
i was raised in NYC and the beach water was 65 in August--we lived in Palo Alto and the Pacific was 55 in August--so comfy weter temp is in the eye of the beholder, just wanted to give the poster a heads up on the possibility

I'd stay @ one of the Beaches near Charleston (Kiawah or Seabrook) or Savannah (Jekyll) & as mentioned by everyone else, skip MB.

We went to SC for Thanksgiving and the weather was good. We visited Savannah but stayed at Hunting Island.
