Yes, going for sure, just got my day approved for time off today. Also for the day after Labor Day. I'll be in MI for 5 days that time. YES!

I face West/Northwest and the sunsets are always awesome, but the gentle light and angle of autumn there over the lake and with the color coming. It's breathtaking.

JJ5 - Where is the meeting on the 14th again? (Please don't make me search all of Faina's posts!) Now that I know you're going - I'll try a little harder to get there! And since I am self-employed, I'm sure my 'boss' won't care. It just depends on my workload and the finances.

It's not set yet but I think Ben Pao (at Illinois/Dearborn) is in the front running right now. Vegetarian is easy there and that was requested.

It's Asian Fusion and I think would please all and be nice and relaxed. I come from LaSalle St. Station so it gives me a good walk. I'll have to shop on the way. LOL!

Your email is quite helpful. Thank you for taking time to type it. In it, you mention some sort of access fee to the beach (if I'm not mistaken). Could you elaborate on how this works? Is it based on where you access it/ where you stay>?

At some Michigan beaches, there is a park entrance fee that you pay at the gate. If you're on private property or a resort, there's no fee.
