has anyone ever standed in line for tickets ? is it possible?

In New York it's impossible to stand IN line. You can only stand ON line.

They only do a post card drawing for tickets once a year (I'm thinking I was told August). I was told by an NBC employee that it's virtually impossible to get tickets to the show since most seats are reserved for the actors and producers guests. Only those select few remaining each week go to the yearly drawing winners. You pretty much have to live in Manhattan to take advantage of it.

As far as I have read and heard, it is pretty much impossible to get SNL tickets. You can, however, get Conan tickets or also tickets to the Daily Show with John Stuart. Find info for him on the comedy central website. At least he's funny.
