Saratoga (NY) retsaurant recommendations?

Will be heading up to Saratoga for an overnighter the weekend after next, and have so far made a dinner reservation at Longfellow's (after doing some research), but this can certainly be changed - any thoughts on Longfellow's, or any other recs elsewhere in the Saratoga Springs vicinity for best overall food and ambiance?

Can't speak from personal experience, but was watching Foodnation w/ Bobby Flay a couple of nights ago and he went to a restaurant called Siro's. Looked great!

If you like inexpensive pasta , but homemade and with good bread try Wheatfields on Main Street. I was impressed by the wine bar on Main Street...unbelieveable selection of wines by the glass and great light fare and good appetizers...good place to go with ambience before dinner. The Ripe Tomato is worth a look--a bit out of town, but good menu.

Longfellow's is nice, and there are several other options if you prefer to dine in town. I love The Wheatfields, so I second the previous poster's recommendation. You might also want to consider the Olde Bryan Inn on Maple Avenue, which is more casual, or the 43 Phila Street Bistro. For lunch, I must recommend Bruno's on Union Avenue (my sentimental favorite). It's has 1950s decor and serves great brick-oven pizzas, etc. Enjoy!

Thanks, everyone - restaurants currently under consideation are Longfellow's, Saratoga Rose, and Stillwater's (nice mini-review in this past Sunday's NY Times in the Travel section's timely piece on Saratoga!) - will do some major deliberating, make a final choice, but before I do...any thoughts on the restaurants I've listed above???
