What is Sapphire like?

It always amazes me that somebody can find this site, but can't do a simple search on www.google.com? what's up with that?

Surely this isn;t about a genstone?

Is it about some new trendy club or restaurant - but without listing a city?

Or is it some obscure place?

have you googled julieleigh AAFF? Lonely I'd guess. Julie the big island is wonderful...if you really want to know about it and sapphire use the search box on this site.

Well, lets see. I prefer my martinis made with Bombay of that type, straight up with a twist.

Strangly, I now have to ask for a gin martini.

Do you mean Sapphire resort in NC in Cashiers?

gyppielou Jun 25th, 2005 05:01 PM

shhhhhh...I may be wrong but there could be a tro-double hockey stick in our midst???

I believe she is talking about the town of Sapphire which is east of Cashiers, near Lake Toxaway in Transylvania County, NC. It is a beautiful area, as are all the areas in the mountains. I'm sure you will love it!

If she is talking about Sapphire, NC, I used to go to summer camp there when I was a teenager (Camp Merrie-Wood). It's been many years since I was there, so it may be more built up now, but I do remember how very beautiful it was there. The camp was on a lovely lake surrounded by mountains, and there was a golf resort on the other side of the lake. I have very happy memories of the summers I spent there.
