Santa Fe travel ideas..?
 

Going to Santa Fe New Mexico for 4 days...any suggestions? I do want to see Taos,...but has anyone any other ideas?

Well it depends what you like. There is the house where Georgia O'keefe did her work in Abiqu--there are great native american ruins of various sorts--

Drive out to Bandelier Park to see the pueblo dwellings. You can also stop in Los Alamos where there are musuems about the history of the area and the manhanttan project. All were very interesting.

When will you be going? We were there over the 4th of July and there were all kinds of things going on in the plaza area.

I also hear the Sanat Fe opera is delightful, but buy your tickets in advance if yo uare interested because it does sell-out.

we are going just after Christmas to visit a relative, she lives there, but thought I could come up with my own input...thank you for replying, they are great suggestions...

I would only plan on spending a day in Taos; that should be sufficient.

There are great museums and galleries in Santa Fe.

What kind of things do you like to see/do? Outdoors [hiking; winter sports etc?].
