Lordy, Sometimes there is snow but usually is light and doesn't inhibit you getting around.

According to weather.com the averages for this December were:
Temps Jan 44/16 degrees F
Feb 43/15

Sorry, it's a beautiful weekend and not hanging around the computer.

My favorites vary upon the seasons but eating and Ten Thousand Waves Spa is always at the top of my list. Any time of year involves walking around the plaza, walking up canyon road to the galleries and stopping for a glass of wine and snack along the way, having a margarita on the upstairs patio at Ore House to people watch, the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, & Museum Hill (a new favorite). In Summer we love the Santa Fe Opera, Indian Market, all of the above, hiking in Bandalier, take the low road to Taos and stop along the way in Chimayo, Nambe, and other quaint towns, wandering through Tesuque Flea Market with a roasted corn cob in hand, sitting on an outside patio somewhere and taking in the bluest sky you've ever seen and smelling that intoxicating smell of pinon burning. I could go on and on and feel I already have!

I can't narrow my favorites to just 3 but they would involve a great restaurant and green and red chiles, looking at art, going to Ten Thousand Waves, and wandering the streets of Santa Fe and watching a beautiful sunset.

(geez, after reading that it sounds like a personal ad! LOL)

Hope that gives you a few ideas,
BeachGirl

I'm with TahitiTams. We didn't like Santa Fake at all. It's so contrived and phony. One thing I did learn is there are more gray (male) ponytails per capita than anywhere else :.)
