Santa Fe mid-August?

We are visiting my son in Taos on Aug.13-18. We'd like to make it to Santa fe this time, and can't seem to find much going on that weekend. Any ideas?

Santa Fe is gearing up for the Santa Fe Indian Market on August 22 and 23 .

Here is the calendar of events in Santa Fe for August:

What are you looking to do?

Thanks for the tip...but we will be there the previous weekend unfortunately. We are looking for arts events and/or music, festivals, exhibits, etc. We will probably spend Saturday afternoon and evening in Santa Fe.
Thanks again!!

Lots going on per BeachGirl's link. Falstaff at SFO or the flamenco would both be great. Hang out at the Plaza, check out the downtown museums.

I have to mention the Tesuque flea market, which is near the opera on the way into town from Taos. I just can't go to Santa Fe without a trip out there. It's good free fun and people watching, and a great place for a cheap and delicious lunch (try an Indian taco.) Many people like it for breakfast, too.

Saturdays seem to have the most vendors.
