Santa Clara/San Jose turkey day

Please, I only got one reply the last time I asked--does anyone have a suggestion for a nice Thanksgiving dinner place that won't cost the better part of $200 for 3 people (the Fairmont is nice, but expensive)?

I will list some places I would take my family members for a once-a-year dinner, w/o price or availability on Turkey Day considerations.

Shadowbrook, Capitola

Grandview, SJ

Carnelian Room, SF

Kuleto's, Los Gatos

Lion & Compass, Sunnyvale

Birk's, Santa Clara

Paolo's, SJ

Lou's Village, SJ

Manresa, Los Gatos

The Grill on the Alley, SJ Fairmont

I will think of more. What style of dining do you prefer?

More came to mind:

A restaurant called 840 N. First, in SJ

Orlo's at the Hayes Renaissance Center, in SJ

The Fairmont is very nice. In San Jose it's geared toward business travelers so you could get a good deal there on a holiday. We stayed there once on a weekend for $79 a night.

And that's about the cost of dinner there this holiday!:)
