Santa Barbara - Girl's Weekend

Hi there,

A bunch of friends are heading up to Santa Barbara in July to celebrate a bachelorette party. We are going up Friday coming back Sunday. Saturday we will be attending the California Wine Festival event. However, we would like to go out Friday night for dinner and drinks.

We are a bunch of late 20's early 30's gals looking for a good time. Would like a nice dinner, nothing too expensive, but not a taco stand either. Somewhere with good drinks/food, trendy atmosphere, and music. I was leaning towards tapas, sangria, and music, but haven't found anything yet. Would like to get semi dressed up, but nothing too formal. A fun, trendy, classy atmosphere would be best. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks so much!

Opal would be one place to consider, reviews of Opal and other places can be found here:

Check out "Cava" in Monticeto. Or Intermitzo (not spelled right I know) next door to the Wine Cask restaurant/wine store.

Opal or The Chase on State are great places..I believe the Wine Cask is no longer open.
Love having drinks and app's at San Ysidro Ranch or the Biltmore.
Have fun!
