Santa Barbara

Are there some inexpensive hotels in Santa Barbara? I'm looking to stay there and wondered if there are perhaps any chain hotels that are in a good location.

There's a Days Inn not far from the beach...it gets generally mediocre reviews. There's a motel 6 that's usually booked up 4 months in advance.

The Motel6 is great .Only 30 yards from the beach.paul

The Motel 6 on North State St (#2)is okay. It's not really a tourist location, but seems decent enough.
