Sanibel, where to stay?

Have never been there. Looks beautiful, but all the condo sites are starting to make me crazy. Any ideas? Kids: 19, 15, 12 and two adults.

When are you going? Make sure you know all about the red algae and red tide issues before you commit. We're not doing Sanibel anymore because of the problems with the two that have been so prevalent the last year and more ...

End of June. Naive to the red tide but will look it up.
Thanks

pnegan, please go to tripadvisor.com, and type in "Sanibel" in the search, then click on "Sanibel forums" down to the left. You will find a great deal on the "red" problems.
