Sanibel Island and Island Inn accommodation
 

We would like to go for five days in the end of February to Sanibel Island but majority of the places recommended on this forum are beyond our budget. <BR>Island Inn located at 3111 West Gulf Drive has rooms under $200 per night. Do you know anything about this place and location? Looks fine on their website.<BR>We really would like to stay on a beach. <BR>Thank you

We stayed at the Island Inn in June. <BR>While it was not fancy, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. I'd go back again.<BR><BR>In general I had no complaints but we did ask to be moved to the second floor(Matthews Building) from the first floor because of loud-footed upstairs neighbors. <BR><BR>The inn's location is slightly away from the shops and restaurants on Periwinkle but since we had a rental car this was no problem.<BR><BR>Enjoy Sanibel, it's a great place.<BR>

Is November 20-30 good time to be there? How is the weather? Is it crowded? Any great places to eat?<BR><BR>We want to go shelling so a water doesn't need to be warm enough for swimming but would be nice. <BR>
