Sanibel Island Accomadations

Trying to find information about a motel called West-End Paradise on Sanibel Island. It is located accross from the wildlife reserve. Any information on the motel or location is appreciated.

The West End Inn appears to be located in a residental section on the west side of the island. We are also considering the Buttonwood Cottages near the lighthouse. Is anyone familiar with this lodging?

Have stayed at West-End Paradise the past three years and have booked again for a stay this March. (They seem to get a lot of repeat visitors) Owned and run by a lovely German couple. It is a small complex in a residential area. It is indeed across from Ding Darling Nature preserve. While this is the quieter end of the island, it is an easy drive either on to Captiva or back to the restarants and shops of Sanibel. No pool but a wonderful beach just down the street. You will be given a parking pass for the lot at the beach. They do have a web-site which gives an accurate representation of the property.<BR>Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. We may have to decide on the place to stay based on location on Sanibel. West End Paradise may not be within walking distance of any restaurants whereas other lodgings such as Buttonwood Cottages appear to be within walking distance of Old Sanibel. I will send this to the top to see if there is anymore help around. Thanks.
