Sand Diego Catholic Church needed
 

We will be staying in downtown San Diego & would like to find a Catholic church w/in walking distance. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Do they say Mass at the Mission? Might be interesting for you. I know they have Mass at San Luis Rey Mission but that is up just north of Carlsbad so hardly a walk. Beautiful art there though.

There's also Mission San Diego. Very pretty. There are plenty of Catholic churchs in San Diego. If you check the phone book you will find one convenient to where you are staying. It might help if you were more specific. Where do you mean by "downtown"?

There is a website called masstimes.org that lists churches and mass times in most major cities in the U.S.

Since you'll be downtown, you'll be quite close to "Little Italy" (the Italian neighborhood of San Diego.) There's a very popular Catholic church in Little Italy. I forgot the name (I've been to a wedding there). But I bet if you call one of the big hotels in the downtown area and ask the concierge, they'll know the name.
