San Luis Obispo - Wine Country
I will be attending a wedding in San Luis Obispo the first weekend of June and am looking to check out some of the area's vineyard with a few friends (in our mid-20s). We will be flying into San Jose and driving south down the coast as we have a couple days to kill prior to the wedding. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as most info I've found is strictly about Napa/Sonoma. thanks in advance.

Since the movie "Sideways" (pre-wedding trip by 2 friends through Santa Ynez Valley) the area has gone wild with visitors, Also lots of new wineries near Paso Robles These areas are near highway 101 not along the coast , which is highway one.... |
On your way south: Monterrey County, Paso Robles, SLO County. See Canyon also has a nice little wine road. Also Edna Valley near SLO.
