San Luis Obispo area - no 2 night minimum

So - I've booked all of my hotels for our trip except for the 1 night on our coastal drive that we would like to spend somewhere in/around San Luis Obispo.

I had found a place to stay, and when I went to confirm the reservation today, they indicated they have a 2 night minimum for a Saturday night stay (not previously mentioned in any of my 3 previous emails).

Does anyone know of any hotels/b&bs in the area that do NOT have a 2 night minimum.

thanks!

Hi harrowgirl

Try down the road in Morro Bay. I think you'll fine something there.

Have Fun

I looked on expedia-there are a couple of hotels in SLO that don't require 2 nights but I don't know much about them. You'd have to check tripadvisor and also wasn't sure of your budget.

I just came back last week from a Central Coast trip and stayed at the Kon Tiki in Pismo Beach. They do have a 2 night minimum with a Sat. stay. Check expedia for Pismo but Morro Bay looks the best for having more hotels to pick from.

most nice places on the coast will have a 2 night minimum over a Friday or Saturday. Not all of course - but the few who don't tend to book up even faster than those w/ minimums.

I'd also try just about any property in Morro Bay and hope to get lucky.

maybe try the brand new Mission Inn located in Arroyo Grande...about 15 min. south of San Luis Obispo. You could also try Atascadero which is to the north. Any of the beach cities close by (Pismo beach, Avila beach, Morro bay) will probably have a 2 night minimum in summer. I assume that is when you'll be traveling.
