San Juan Island lodging

We're planning two nights on SJI May 26-27. Can you recommend lodging for under $200? Is it better to stay outside of Friday Harbor? Thanks!

You might want to post this on the Caribbean forum.

They moved San Juan Island from Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest? Wow, that must have been difficult.

I'm not sure if emcash is kidding around or doesn't realize... the San Juan Islands are about 3 hours from Seattle, Washington USA by ferry (or float plane or car/ferry).

It's been awhile, but I enjoyed Friday Harbor myself.

What type of place are you looking for? There are some B&Bs that still have rooms under $200, I believe. Try Olympic Lights or the Trumpeter Inn. And yes, my personal preference would be to stay outside of Friday Harbor but if you're a family or not B&B fans then your best bet would probably be the Elements motel in Friday Harbor.
